Irish Seed Savers’ vital work is conserving Ireland’s heritage food crops – open pollinated seed and apples – and contributing to sustainable food systems. Along with our conservation work, we operate as a social enterprise, producing Irish Heritage apple trees and organic open-pollinated seed for sale. We are currently scaling up our operations to meet increased public demand and are recruiting additional staff as part of this endeavour.
Working as part of a team within our renowned conservation organisation, the Land Worker will share responsibility for tending our heirloom seed gardens and orchard nursery beds on our 20-acre organic farm.
