A polytunnel is a wonderful addition to any garden, providing a warm space for you to sow seeds in, propagate plants, grow heat-loving plants like tomatoes and peppers and prolonging the production of other crops throughout the year. If you are considering investing in a tunnel, we highly recommend this workshop. The day will cover the most advantageous siting of a tunnel, it’s erection, the layout of the beds inside, cultivation of the ground, irrigation, crops you can grow now and some hands-on propagation experience to get you going with crops for your own tunnel. Please bring a sample of your soil in a jam jar if you would like its structure analysis and advice on how to improve it.

Material cost: €5
