Come and join us, on a Spring day in March; a morning, foraging, gathering, identifying & discovering wondrous weeds. Learn their health giving qualities, as well as folklore and history, whilst savouring flavoursome wild foods. Spring into an afternoon of action, creating herbal remedies to re-energise and revitalise after the long Winter, preparing and protecting us for the forthcoming year. Herbal remedy, identification skills, and handouts to take home on the day to aid future herbal alchemy. Please bring a notepad & pen, a basket for foraging and 3 clean 1lb jars. 

Material Cost: €10

Our Big workshop weekend offers a range of full-day courses to choose from. You can take a single course or two courses over the weekend. Our courses always get positive feedback from participants and you will benefit from on hand expert tutors with years of experience in their field. The weekend format also offers you the opportunity to meet like-minded people and to spend some time in our gardens, orchards and woodlands in beautiful East Clare.

Courses are suitable for adults only.
For safety, children under 18 years are not permitted at the workshops.

Lunch & Refreshments

The Seed Savers Café will be open on each course day for lunch, serving soup, tea and coffee, and homemade cakes. The Café is vegetarian and uses organic ingredients from the gardens and orchards where possible.
