Composting & Green Manures – Saturday May 13th – 10am – 4:30pm
Knowing how to nurture and develop the structure and biology of soils is essential to growing healthy organic crops. Composting and green manures are an integral part of supporting this. This one-day workshop will introduce participants to core skills, knowledge and equipment needed to successfully plan for and use compost and green manures in the garden. Participants will spend a good proportion of the workshop in the gardens for demonstrations and the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience.
