Description
It’s complex and astringent flavour may be best suited to cider making. Some susceptibility to scab. But this need not be a worry to cider apple growers who don’t need perfect looking fruit. Discovered by Ian McGrigor in Co. Kerry who brought it and several other apple and pear varieties to our attention. Origins still under research by ISSA.
Flowering: Mid to Late Season
Picking: September.
