Greasy Pippin. Originally collected by Lamb (1951), who describes the cultivar as common in the Ballinamallard district of Co Fermanagh and also in Co Tyrone. Collected separately by Peadar MacNeice for the Armagh Orchard Trust. A large fruit suitable for tarts, needing little sugar. It is pale yellow to yellowish green with a golden yellow to orange red blush. When ripe the skin is remarkably greasy with a very clean fruit resistant to scab. Sweetens to eating quality in storage.<\/p>\n
