Seeds For Future
Generations

Within our Seed Bank is a story of quiet resistance — over 800 varieties of vegetable, grain, herb, and flower seeds, preserved not for profit, but for people. This is Ireland’s only living, non-commercial seed bank. It exists to ensure that rare, locally adapted, open-pollinated seeds remain part of our agricultural system. Many of these varieties are no longer available anywhere else. Some were revived from single packets donated by families. Others were repatriated from Gene Banks around the World. Seeds in our bank are not relics — they are regrown, shared, and reintroduced into gardens and farms across the country.
