This variety ripens in September and grows well in Ireland. The nuts are large and flavoursome and should be harvested when they begin to fall from the tree. Tolerates shade but will crop best in full sun. Partially self-fertile but will crop better with a pollination partner.  Will grow to 20ft (6m) in height if not pruned.
