Description

Beautiful round sweet pear. More apple-shaped than pear-shaped. The original tree stood in the walled garden of Clyduffe House, Roscrea, Co Tipperary. Brought to the attention of ISSA by Henry Kenny (RIP). The original tree is no longer in existence, but thanks to the Kenny family the variety has been conserved and is available to the public for future generations to enjoy.

Pollination detail not yet established, therefore best planted within a group of pear varieties.
