Description
Twiggy Pea is a distinctive variety from the Court of Eden Seed Savers in Holland. The plants grow to approximately 1.2 metres tall. They produce full pods containing up to eight peas per pod. Twiggy is particularly unusual because of its remarkable tendrils. The tendrils curl extensively and develop a distinctive twig-like appearance. These unusual tendrils can also be used as an attractive garnish.
The plants combine their unusual appearance with excellent flavour. This makes Twiggy an interesting variety for both growing and eating.
