A medium-sized apple useful for juicing and baking. A healthy tree that produces prolifically and reliably.
Renowned for producing abundantly in windswept orchards at Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare in the early 20th century.
Under the name White Moss it was grown popularly in Co. Kilkenny throughout the 19th and 20th century.
