Description

Found in Woodstock, Oxfordshire in around 1740.  This variety can be used from late September as a cooking apple and then sweetens from October onwards becoming suitable for use as an eater.  The fruit has a greenish-yellow to orange skin with red streaks and has a distinctive nutty flavour.

Flowering: Late (Triploid – requires two other varieties for pollination)
