This native perennial wildflower blooms from June to September, and is often found in ditches, hedgerows and roadsides throughout the country. Small, pretty, yellow-maroon flowers are borne on very tall stems – between 60cm to 1.5m in height. Well-loved by moths and other pollinators. Historically, people have used Figwort as a folk remedy for skin conditions and tuberculosis.
