Description

Large long fruit ideal for tarts, needing little sugar. Sweetens to a golden yellow colour at which point they are considered good as an eating apple. A very dependable and productive tree. Easy to prune and maintain. Discovered circa 1850 in Lancashire, UK. Became popular in Ireland due to its heavy and useful crop and good disease resistance.
