This Irish heritage variety produces a large crop of small-medium sized, plum-shaped red tomatoes. Best grown as bush and left to sprawl rather than trimmed into a cordon. Good resistance to pests and disease in a tunnel, but may be susceptible to blight if grown outdoors in wet conditions. The fruit is most flavourful when cooked, as this variety was most likely cultivated for sauce production.
