ISSA’s Head of Conservation and Head of Horticulture recently attended the 15th LLD Forum in Scandicci, Florence.
The forum brought together experts and organisations from across Europe to exchange knowledge, share innovative approaches, and strengthen collaboration in plant genetic resources conservation, sustainable agriculture, and rural development.
Attending the forum provided valuable opportunities for ISSA to build new connections, learn from international best practices, and explore ideas that can support our work in conserving Ireland’s plant genetic resources and heritage crops.
We are grateful to have been part of these important discussions and look forward to applying the knowledge gained to future projects and initiatives.
