We are delighted to host two events as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022

The theme of Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022 in Clare County Council is a celebration of life ‘Amuigh Faoin Aer’, the Great Outdoors. As springtime arrives, a series of bilingual events will showcase biodiversity, heritage and wellbeing.

Tour of Irish Seed Savers Gardens and Orchards, 12th March, 2pm

Meeting at 2pm there will be a tour around the organic gardens and heritage orchards. The walk will be in Irish and beginners are welcome to attend. There will be tea and coffee in the cafe after the tour and please remember to dress for the weather.

Amhrán nua – a new song Irish Seed Savers’ Association, the Blue Building , Wednesday, 16th March – 1pm-2.30pm

Amhrán le Úna Ní Chiosáin. This workshop will celebrate the arrival of spring with a song on the theme and conversation around the importance of the seed savers as a vital hub for planetary wellbeing. No singing experience needed and if you prefer to listen, beidh sé sin ceart go leor freisin. This is relaxed singing workshop with a springtime theme, inside and outside of the Blue Building.
