Spinach thrives in Ireland’s cool climate and can be sown successively from March to September for harvests right into autumn. Choose from three heirloom varieties: Haldenstein, a nutty Swiss classic rich in iron and vitamins; Giant Noble, prized for its high yield and tender leaves; and Virginia, a crinkly, blight-resistant variety great for late-season sowing.
