Originally developed in France, this variety was introduced into USA in 1906 with the name ‘Strawberry Cabbage Lettuce’. A butter head type, with beautiful green leaves splashed with red speckles. Overwinters well and has good resistance to pests and disease. Lovely flavour, great in salads.
