Description

Anna Swartz Hubbard pumpkin is a heritage squash developed by Anna Swartz in 1950s Pennsylvania. The sprawling plants produce large fruits with bumpy, black-blue skin.  The flesh is sweet, creamy and deep orange. The thick skin means this variety is good for winter storage. In 2025 we grew it both under cover and outside, with the outside plants performing even better than the indoor ones! Give plenty of room for this large variety to sprawl through your growing space.
