Description
Large and distinctive. Red & yellow colouring looks particularly decorative. Eaten fresh from the tree, it has a mild flavour. Also suitable for cooking. Heavy crop, good disease resistance. Associated with counties Kilkenny, Meath and Offaly in early 20th century.
