Originally grown as a staple crop in the Rhodope mountains of Bulgaria. A climbing variety that produces a wide range of single and multi-coloured beans. Tolerates cool conditions and grows successfully outdoors, but has a long growing period before the beans are ready to eat. Tastes buttery, sweet and earthy.
