These bicoloured beans had been grown and saved in Ireland by the O’Driscoll’s for many years before they were donated to us. A very vigorous climbing variety, cool tolerant and early fruiting, producing a prolific abundance of beans. Mauve flowers are followed by flat green tasty pods flecked with purple. Can be eaten as whole pods when young or left to mature and shelled.
