Description
Frise Vert Fonce is an old French parsley variety with tightly curled, deep green leaves. Its name translates as “curled, dark green”, describing its distinctive appearance.
The plants produce an abundance of large leaves throughout the growing season. The leaves are held above the ground on long stalks. This makes the foliage clean and easy to harvest.
The leaves have a rich and tasty flavour. They can be enjoyed both raw and cooked. The curly foliage also gives the plant an attractive appearance in the garden.
Frise Vert Fonce is reasonably hardy and can be grown for overwintering. We recommend overwintering the plants in a tunnel.
