Description
Beautiful early cooking apple. Its deep red colour looks fantastic in the tree in August. Discovered in 1884 in Cambridgeshire, UK. Found growing productively in Co. Leitrim in the 1990s and was thought to be a rare Irish variety before DNA testing revealed its true origins.
