Originally developed in the 1950s by a local amateur village showman in Yorkshire to be grown in the local area. Tall plants (2.1 – 2.4m high) with white flowers and long pods with up to 10 peas in each. Abundant cropper, well-suited to cool, wet conditions. The incredibly sweet, morish peas can be eaten from the pods when young or could be left to dry for harvest as a soup pea.
