This Catalonian variety grows exceptionally well in our cool climates, producing 5-8 fruit per plant even when grown outdoors. The fruits are a pale green when ripe, though start to blush red with dark streaks if left on the plant. The flesh is crunchy and juicy, with a sweet, zingy flavour. Their thin skin means these fruits don’t store very long once picked. Perfect for roasts, salads, or pickled in vinegar and salt.
